Reclaiming Revival

I want to start this blog entry out on a very serious note: 

Churches need help, and they need it now. 

The spirit of apathy has run wild throughout congregations, wreaking havoc, causing people to either not come to service at all (which causes church buildings to eventually close), or infects those who do come, and causes them to change into nothing more than "pew fillers." 

This spirit is something unseen with the natural eye, but we can see it's manifestations:

-saints not lifting a finger much less a hand when music is going on during services

-an attitude and mindset of church being "routine" 

-people not backing the preaching 

-people not wanting to do any work within the church

What our churches need desperately is the filling of the Spirit of GOD. A revival that begins within the heart of every Christian out there in the world today.

The power of the Holy Spirit is unlimited and unmatched by anything with which the enemy is trying to attack the church body. We may be seeing people falling out of church, or sitting back during an altar call now, but it will not last.  (Isaiah 59:19)

The same thing that GOD did in  Acts 2 , He can do again today if we will pray for a Holy Ghost outpouring. We must make the decision to intercede for others, to do whatever it takes to have revival. 

So I encourage you: stay at your post, worship with your whole heart, and give GOD your best.
